Modifying vehicles can significantly impact safety and performance. DirtBound products are intended for off-road use only and are not approved for use on public roads by any regulatory agency. By using DirtBound products, you accept that DirtBound is not responsible for any adverse effects resulting from vehicle modifications or the use of our products.
Product Liability and Warranty
- Risk Acknowledgment: DirtBound products do not guarantee protection from injury, death, or risks. Effectiveness depends on proper installation, use, and maintenance. By purchasing our products, you assume all associated risks.
- Warranty: DirtBound offers a limited lifetime warranty covering materials and workmanship. This does not include:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse or improper installation
- Liability Limitation: DirtBound’s liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product. No liability for indirect, special, or consequential damages.
Shipping and Lead Times
- Delivery Estimates: UPS, FedEx, and USPS typically deliver within 2–5 business days after shipment.
- Manufacturing Lead Times: Most products are Made-to-Order. Lead times are estimates and subject to change due to material availability, operational issues, or unforeseen events.
- Acknowledgment: By placing an order, you accept the lead times as estimates and agree they may vary.
Order Cancellation Policy
- Within 48 Hours: Cancellations are subject to a 3.5% fee to cover non-refundable card processing fees & administration costs.
- After 48 Hours (Before Fabrication): A 15% restocking fee applies.
- During Fabrication: Orders cannot be canceled once fabrication has started.
- Cancellation Requests: Must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
Returns
- Eligibility: Returns are accepted on non-custom products within 30 days of receipt. Items must be:
- In like-new condition
- In original packaging
- Pre-approved with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
- Exclusions:
- Used or modified items
- Custom orders
- Restocking Fee: Up to 25%.
- Process:
- Request an RMA by contacting DirtBound.
- Repackage the item with order details.

Warranty Claims
- Coverage: Lifetime warranty for the original purchaser on original vehicle. Cosmetic issues like rust or scratches are excluded.

- Obtain an RMA number and ship the item for inspection.
- Return shipping costs are the purchaser’s responsibility.
Legal Indemnification
By using DirtBound’s website and products, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless DirtBound and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or costs related to your use of our products or services.
Dispute Resolution
- Arbitration Only: All disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Chisago County, Minnesota, under the American Arbitration Association rules.
- Venue: Legal proceedings not subject to arbitration must be brought in Chisago County, Minnesota.
- Waiver: You waive your right to file a lawsuit or class action in any other jurisdiction.
