The product is great. the only problem i had was that it took a little over 2 months to get them.
Haven't installed them yet but they look fantastic.
I am never short of impressed with Dirtbound products. I am so glad that I found out about their great quality works. Welds look great, and I love the style. Would definitely recommend 10/10
Very good quality. Well built by people who understand the demands of off-roading and rock crawling. Have not installed yet but appears to fit up well to my XJ’s frame, rockers and pinch seams.
Awesome, very well built product
Very sturdy. I love how the slider curves upward towards the body and not just a straight flat edge.
Overall these are really nice sliders. They look great and are stout. Like others I had issues with the attachment to the pinch welds. I ended up making spacers to fill the gap. I also drilled through holes and used long bolts for mounting to the frame. I don’t think the self tappers would take much abuse before being pulled out. Just not enough threads to be very strong.
They’re surprisingly sturdy for bolt ons. Unfortunately, they aren’t very straight. The sliders didn’t come with any instructions, but it’s a pretty simple install. Before I even started the install, I could tell I was going to have issues with the fitment though. I ended up having to cut my pinch weld in spots to get to to sit flush. Unless you get out a tape measure and REALLY look at it, you can’t tell. I waited just over two months and didn’t hear anything until they shipped, but that’s understandable due to COVID. I know they’re made to order, but it still would have been nice to know what was going on with it. I’ve seen their posts on social media about some new tech and systems they’re implementing, so that seems like it won’t be a problem in the future! Also, it would have been nice to also get a sticker for spending close to $400 lol! Overall, I’m happy with my purchase!
The pinch weld brackets were off by about 3/8-1/2". Had to bend the pinch welds out. The build time was ridiculously slow. 6 weeks. The customer service is slow to respond. But I do love the sliders, they look great. Work well.
I wanted to give even less stars for the rating because there shouldn't need to be any additional fabrication needed to install these other than just drilling some holes and bolting it on, but these are very stout and sturdy rails and after all the additional hassle the outcome was just as I was hoping and they look like they'll do great at their job. The problem during installation was the length of the 90 degree side arms on them was too long, which resulted in a good 1/4" to 1/2" gap between the pinch weld and the mounting brackets. I had to cut the ends off, shave off the extra length and then re-weld them back on. I've heard they make a couple different versions of these depending on if there is any customization to your rig and need the additional length of of the side arms, but I didn't and I sure didn't specify any customization in the order. So, disappointed in that regard, and if your order these maybe confirm with them the length specifications prior so that there aren't any surprises, because I read another review where the same thing happened. But definitely pleased with the quality and they look good, and look like they'll perform good as well, so overall happy with the purchase in the end.
Seems to be a good product
Great product, real simple, good price excellent quality. Dirtbound got this out to me even during COVID 19. Their customer service is superior!
Great quality in their workmanship. The welds are clean, the detail is there and I’d buy again. I personally messed up when I ordered them and didn’t take into account that I have frame stiffeners on my 97’ XJ. It was a simple fix, with the welder, but that was my stupidity for not accounting for that....the support I got when I had questions was outstanding and these guys were all about making sure I was pleased with their support and product. Can’t ask for more! Time to go quarantine out on the trails!
So I am very particular on what parts I choose to outfit our tribute builds. When I saw these rock sliders, I immediately purchased a set. After about a week, they showed up, and they were packaged nicely as. Well. Now when we mounted them, we welded them to the unibody and bolted to the pinch seam. Check out our photos at Facebook.com/5785tribute Great product and made in America!

I haven’t installed then yet, still trying to decide how to cover them. But the welding is perfect and they look great!!!
These are nice sliders but the front attachment arm bracket on the pinch seam needs some tweaking. The bolts are just make it into the seam. The arm needs to be moved up just a bit. This is a common problem with this product.
The fabrication of these Rock Sliders is high quality including the welding. As a fabricator of years ago, These weldments are top notch. I reached out with a concern and received a quick response that made sense. The only reason for four stars versus five is the lack of the option for powder coating. I highly recommend Dirtbound products. I have a couple of their other products and am very pleased.
as advertised
Super solid, one of the pinch weld brackets could have been welded on more straight, but still works fine. All hardware was included, and shipping was quick!
