I ordered the tray for a ‘98 XJ . My battery is group size 34 . This tray is larger than my battery . It’s not going to fall out but there’s room for a bigger battery in this tray . I would say at least 1” bigger on all the dimensions , height , width , & length . This thing is heavy duty ! If you wreck your vehicle & it’s a total loss except for one thing , this will be that one thing !! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I like for the battery to fit tight

Got scratched up bad on delivery because it was just the bumper with a sticker on it but nothing a flap disk couldn't fix

Bolted right into place and also bought the tie in brackets which bolted right in place was a piece of cake to install and looks good very satisfied with products

Great product. The only issue what the batch I got did not conform the the body very well.

Great product! Very well made! 4 star rating instead of 5 star because incorrect hardware was provided. You cant hand thread nylon insert stop nuts as required for installation. Other than that perfect!

Bumper came with everything I needed, and of good quality. Instructions were very detailed, except the instructions for where to place the end caps and the pieces that go under the taillight. That’s why it has 4 stars from me. I’d easily suggest this kit to anyone looking for a rear bumper for a good price. Would suggest a video on assembly of the bumper from DirtBound.

Came with wrong bolts but the correct ones were sent later. Overall a solid product.

Hard to mess something like this up, exactly what u wanted and it only had one little divet where it was grinded down or something

Had to modify the top hold down strap.the top hold down strap was making contact with the upper radiator hose.

Base bolt holes did not line up, but included self tapping screws made install relatively easy. Definitely fixed the wiggly center console. One less rattle.

Good construction and solid installation. Thick steel and forms well to the body. Cons: Since it’s metal it is now a grounded spot and makes it dangerous around the positive post would be good to include rubber washers for bottom to keep it from grounding. The threaded rods are too tall and will need to be cut. The top cross piece rubs on the upper radiator hose, need to grind down corner
