Bought this bracket to install a 97+ center console in my 94 XJ. After swapping the ebrake and the center console from the donor vehicle, this was exactly what I needed to finish the swap. After drilling new mounting holes, lining everything up and bolting everything down, the console is absolutely rock solid. If it fits this well and does such a fantastic job in a Jeep it's not really meant to be in, I'm positive it'd be completely bombproof, in the newer model years. To quote the A-Team: "Overkill is underrated.” This thing is 1000% more than what’s reasonably necessary hold a plastic center console in place. But you’ll never have to worry ever again.

Fit's fine. Much better than the stock piece. I like the nutsert and bolt combination. Very robust.

Have not had a chance to install yet. The quality of the finish and workmanship on a part that will not show is first class. Would not think twice about buying from you again.

Great product. I had to tweak it a bit to get the holes to line up but once done it made my center console rock solid. Very happy with it.

This is a great replacement for the crappy plastic stock mount. Worth every penny. Front leg wouldn’t line up, but slight grinding with a dremel fixed that in a minute. Highly recommend

A great fix to a garbage design by Jeep. Every one of the 4 XJs I've owned from this era has been broken. DirtBound, maybe a slightly lighter gauge metal to make it easier to adjust to the factory holes in the floor pan.

Great product

I have had my XJ for 18 years and the one thing I had to repair on a regular basis was the console bracket. Since the air bag module was relocated there after a recall I've had nothing but problems with the original plastic bracket breaking. This steel bracket has solved my problem. Fit without any problems and the included hardware was nice too. Slightly larger self-tapping screws for the bracket snugs it to the floor and two threaded screws for the threaded inserts in the new bracket secure the console. Thank You!
