Had to grind down one of the corners for proper fitment but other than that it works great.

The bumper didn’t have any instructions or angles marked for how much to bend. So i just had to guess. But it turned out sooo good and i love the slim look it doesn’t hang down far like most bumpers.

Tacked this bumper together yesterday. Directions for the bumper are great, slight grinding is necessary on the brackets and gussets for a flush fit inside the bumper, and just enough hardware get the job done so dont mess up or youre buying more. You have to open up the back of the unibody for the frame tie-in bumper brackets, and you have to remove the factory nut strips. Only thing that would make it better is the frame tie-ins being long enough to reach the forward gas tank skid bolt hole.

This bumper looks great, went together with ease. I was able to stack the frame tie-ins over my Dirtbound frame stiffeners, just had to open up the bumper brackets slightly.

Went together really easy and I’m very happy with them, only thing I would say is that I wish they followed the outer line of the stock fender better.

The tray itself is fantastic but the hold down leaves a bit to be desired. As others have said the hold down itself rubes the upper radiator hose. This could be fixed on DBOs side of things by either getting rid of the logo completely or moving it to the top of the battery (mechanics perspective). Also, as others have said, the all-thread comes pretty mangled and requires grinding, filing or chasing to get the ends back in shape so that the provided nuts will thread on. So overall a decent product that could be great with a couple small changes on DBOs side of things.

The bolts given aren’t the most user friendly. When it gets warmer, I’ll swap it in. But it’s definitely sturdy and ideal.

Once I got the all thread and nuts put together and tightened it down where the thin arm bent down the side of the battery a but, it ain't going anywhere. Will get another one for my other XJ when its bettery tray inevitably breaks.

These are a great design and very affordable. I’m happy with my purchase. I’ll be buying more from DBO for sure!

Have not had a chance to install yet. The quality of the finish and workmanship on a part that will not show is first class. Would not think twice about buying from you again.
