Excellent build quality! Heavy duty piece that was easy as pie to install. All hardware and upper hold down bracket was included.

I Broke my original battery tray taking the battery out one day. so I decided to order this one based off of the reviews. I was not disappointed. for half the cost of some other companies "universal" battery tray, you get a battery tray that fits your XJ like it came from the factory. Not only that but its rock solid. Having the hole for the battery temp sensor is also a nice touch. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and look forward to doing business with Dirt bound in the future.

This is a rock solid battery mount for anyone looking to upgrade from the tiny factory battery that comes in the XJ. I upgraded to an Interstate Mega-Tron II Group 34 with 875 CA and 700 CCA. - Far more powerful! This was an easy install, only taking me about 30 minutes to complete. The next stage of my electrical upgrades will be to order a 2nd mount and their reverse mount for my dual battery system.

This is a great replacement for the stock battery tray. Once I bolted it down the battery didn't move at all. Might be helpful to spray a little clear coat on the rods once they are cut down to prevent surface rust.

The powdercoat is nice all hardware included and it's a little wider to accommodate different style battery's and bolts right in can't beat it.

Tray has a great fit and everything went together smoothly. I wish the top cross plate that holds the battery down was a little stronger but overall a great product.

My Jeep had a broken battery box, I replaced it with this metal tray and it bolted right in and held my battery nice and tight!

This is a great quality product. Nice solid steel so much better than the factory plastic tray. The issue I ran into was the bolt holes did not line up at all. Also, my AC hardlines which run around the battery interfered with tray placement, so even if the bolt holes were correct it still would not have fit due to those lines. I ended up moving the entire tray about a half inch inboard and drilled new holes. Not a huge deal but someone with an older XJ like mine that has AC should be aware of this. I have an 88 XJ.

Well big picture I absolutely love the workmanship, materials and basic design. The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t exactly work with every battery size, especially the smaller ones. The top strap where the logo is comes to close to the terminal no matter how I lay it. The ends hang over the side. I had to cut a piece off the logo side so it could fit without being in the way of the terminal. I would like to see an option with out the logo. Just a strait top bar to accommodate smaller batteries. As this is a new battery I won’t be replacing it any time soon. But overall great product

Needed to redrill holes into my jeep. Didn't correctly line up

Same price as a plastic replacement tray but made of nice thick metal. Good stuff

It works great. The only downside is I did have to replace the the tie down bolts because the one supplied were not adequate. They were cut off in such a way that you could not get the nuts that came with it to thread onto them so I just had to reuse my old ones.

Plate is perfect for my 99 xj but the bolts are trash
