Pretty good tray, very strong. The tray it's self doesn't locate the battery though, there is maybe 3/4" - 1" all the way around. Also was a bit disapointed the the tie down tabs were not raised so the stock t bolts could be used. Not a fan of the all thread so cut and welded the tbolts for extra length. Also added a rubber mat under the battery. The location of the battery sensor works but is sorta odd as it would fit better closer to the fender. I had a custom top mount made and not sure why the shape on the normal one is the way it is. All in all it works and it well made but there are a few little things that would improve the overall product.

Nice thick plates and clean welds. Bolt pattern for mounting was spot on but I had to add some washers to allow the nuts to tighten down properly. Having a hole for the temperature sensor is nice as well. I would have preferred to have one set of standard nuts and two sets of nylock nuts instead of three sets of nylocks, but they are not expensive enough that I was bothered buying some. The ends if the all thread were a little rough (nothing a file couldn't fix quickly) but there was plenty of length to them. I actually cut some off after I had everything set up. Overall, the product seemed plenty robust for the price.

The tray is a direct bolt-on made from sturdy materials. It seems to have taken the hig-temp, matte black spray paint very well. It is definitely an upgrade from my stock plastic tray which was cracked in several places and generally falling apart. My only complaint is that the ends of the long bolts were not all smoothed to take the nut. I had to do a little filing to get the final nut in place.

Small shipping issue, customer service did take care of it pretty quick though. Tray is rock solid and looks great!

Well made. Fits well, except for the battery sensor hole being in a bad spot. The sensor itself fit just fine, but the position on the battery tray is further away than the stock location, so the cable has just enough slack to fit. It will not slide into the cable tie spot along the side of the engine bay as before, but the cable for the sensor does connect. (99 xj limited)

bolted right in minus my sheet metal being rotten and bolts broken looks great. if you have an optima with front terminals the allthread is very close. cocking/bending the battery helps or a 1/4 i.d. hose. how ever the all thread is the cheapest garbage the broke without any effort. and you can see and feel the difference in the replacement piece I bought. the dB logo rubs the radiator hose alot. easy to fix by bending the all thread or cutting hose but still a design flaw.

I bought the Battery Tray after buying one of your Battery Hold Down Straps previously. It is made very well with a nice finish. Good quality workmanship. It could be made better by having beefier (OEM Style) Hold Down Bolts versus smaller diameter All-Thread.

Perfect Fit. Had a tough time installing the threaded rod because I waited to put it in until after I put the base in.

I did not like the rods that the bolt hold I should have made it the j hooks

It fit perfect. The only thing was I had to get some burs off the threads so the nuts would go on. other than that it was great.

The locknuts used to install were difficult and impractical. There was no access to the bottom of the bolt. Would have been much easier with one long bolt and then a nut and locking washers or a double nut to secure it. It also didn’t fit the battery cage I had but that’s my bad ig lol still giving it 4 stars because it does it’s job, just not the most practical.

Great product, had to do a little trimming for radiator hose clearance, but had plenty of material to do so. Very secure and well designed. Even fits the battery temp sensor on 97+ cherokees.

Great sturdy battery tray. Threaded rods kinda stink though and made putting it in a pain.

Heavy duty replacement for the factory one. Nice that it holds a 34/78 battery as well. Would have been five stars if it had instructions and the threaded rods weren’t cut crooked which made starting the nuts difficult. Would still highly recommend !

Cheaper than the competition and works just as good, wish it had some directioms.

Perfect fit, easy install, as long as you don't break things (accidentally or on purpose) getting the old one out
